Oriental Biotech Limited was founded by its Chairman, Mr. Atmaram Modi on 23rd September 1996 and is headquartered in Bangalore, a Premier City of India which is also the horticultural capital of the country. Being financially very sound, the Company does not borrow or depend on funds from external agencies.
Oriental Biotech Limited is a Contract Seed production company engaged in seed production and is one of the leading exporters of vegetable seeds to USA, Europe, South Africa and South America. With an experience of over 26 years in production, the Company’s main focus is in the area of Hybrid & OP Vegetable Seeds of Tomato, Hot Pepper, Sweet Pepper, Eggplant, Watermelon, Muskmelon, Squash, Cucumber, Okra etc., and Wild Flower seed production.
The Company has a 25 acre farm on the outskirts of Bangalore with adequate equipment and facilities available in-house for seed trials, cleaning, germination testing, and storage. It has an excellent group of growers who have been developed by the company over several years. The company has in its hold a large number of highly progressive growers, having adequate experience and infrastructure to manage the crops in the appropriate manner.
The Company has qualified, experienced, and well-knit workforce taking care of its seed production. Quality is of utmost importance and priority is always given to producing the best quality seeds.
