We plan our seed production in a very meticulous way so that our customers are assured of the best quality of seeds conforming to international quality norms.
We have separate teams with qualified and experienced staff heading the hybrid and OP seed production. Ideal and suitable locations are identified by our production team, taking into consideration the climatic conditions for each species.
All our nurseries for Hybrid & Ops are sown in plug trays in Greenhouses to develop healthy and strong seedlings for transplanting to the main fields.
From sowings to nurturing the plants, from pollination to harvesting, strict quality control standards are maintained. Each and every hybrid & OP field is visited by our production team on a daily basis.
Chemicals/Pesticides etc., are advanced by us to the growers, both for precautionary use as well as remedial action as needed and required. For Hybrid seed production, we have a special team of supervisors, who carry out a rigid inspection of every field right from transplanting to pollination to harvest. This helps in monitoring and checking during pollination and also rouging is carried out in case any off-types are observed. The growers are not allowed to harvest the crops until the final inspection and approval are given by our production team.
All technical guidance, support, and help in managing the crops, right from sowings up to harvesting is given by our production team to the growers so that quality is not compromised.
To induce healthy competition the growers and production staff are rewarded by the company so that they work harder to deliver the best quality of seeds.
We also undertake GOT (Grow out Test) trials for our international clients
